Today’s industrial-scale wind turbines are designed to reach heights of 100 to 200 meters above ground or water. To achieve stronger and higher speed winds, we need turbines much higher than 300 meters. Due to the high height of these turbines, part of the blades is placed in the known surface layer of the atmosphere and part in the unknown layers of the atmosphere (a large part of the atmosphere that has not been studied so far).
